The World’s most unique Sleep Surface

Viscoelastic polymer foam or ‘Memory Foam’ is a temperature sensitive foam that has billions of open cells that respond to applied pressure and body temperature to change shape and hardness. On contact, the foam changes shape to adapt to the individual body contours. After applied pressure is removed the foam gradually recovers to its original shape, that’s why people call it ‘memory foam’. Unlike other foams or springs, rebound or bounce is negligible and therefore this material does not exert counter pressure. By moulding to the body shape, the material effectively increases the contact area with the body, resulting in a much wider pressure distribution as compared to any other material. The high density ( exceeding 50 kg ) gives the material high support and durability plus the very nature of the material to deform

totally and come back to original shape gradually, ensures very high product life.

In more technical terms, Viscoelastic means that the unique material has the viscosity of fluids and the elasticity of foams built into one form. The Viscous element behaves similar to water and disperses pressure in all directions on contact while the elastic element helps it come back to shape and provide support. This makes it the most ideal contact cushioning sleep surface ever invented, practically even better than water. The open celled structure allows the material to breathe and feel cool to touch. User’s describe the high pressure reduction as a feeling of ‘flotation’.
